Rio de Janeiro, the Pantanal, the Iguazú Falls and the Amazon.
Brazil is the most diverse country in the world. On a single journey you can watch jaguars in the Pantanal, swim beneath the Iguazú Falls, unwind on the beaches of the north-east and feel the energy of Rio.
With Away we design routes that pair Brazil’s most spectacular natural landscapes with hand-picked boutique accommodation and excursions led by expert local guides.
The Pantanal offers the finest wildlife watching in all of South America — jaguars are easier to spot here than leopards are in Africa. And the Iguazú Falls are more breathtaking than Niagara.

Rio + Iguazú + Pantanal needs a minimum of 14–17 days.
Is Brazil safe?
The tourist areas are safe with the usual precautions.
Is the Pantanal worth it compared with an African safari?
They are different experiences. The Pantanal has jaguars that are markedly easier to spot. We recommend it to those who have already done a safari.
